OAJ supports and advises its members at work
OAJ works on behalf of its members to ensure good working conditions and sound conditions of employment. It is in the interest of society as a whole that people experience well-being at work and are able to continue working until they reach the age of retirement.
OAJ negotiates with employers on its members’ salaries, working hours and other conditions of employment. We are involved in the drawing up of all collective agreements, from early childhood education to university and adult education.
We continuously monitor compliance with agreements. Working on behalf of our members in this matter are, among others, shop stewards and occupational safety and health representatives, who support and advise members if they encounter problems. We also assist our members in legal matters.
If you cannot find the answer you are looking for on these pages, we encourage you to contact your shop steward or OAJ by phone or email! Correspondence with us is always confidential. Our contact information can be found here.
