When you retire, your insurance based on your OAJ membership ends.
The following insurance will expire
- professional indemnity and legal expenses insurance
- union insurance (leisure-time insurance, travel and luggage insurance)
If you transfer from OAJ to Retired Teachers in Finland (OSJ), you will receive a discount on your insurance premiums, but you must take out the insurance yourself. OSJ’s insurance partners are Turva and If.
